HESA Alternative Return (Service Packs 1, 2 and 3)
The following changes have been made to the HESA Alternative Return module for 4.36 (Service Packs 1, 2 and 3):
Use of HESA Alternative Return is controlled by the EBS4HESAALT licence.
Service Pack 1 Changes
The following changes have been made for 4.36 Service Pack 1:
Fields added to HESA output file
The following fields have been added to the HESA output file for 21/22.

Fields added to Curriculum Details
The UCAS Course Code [HESA : Scheme Code] field has been added to the Unit Instance screen in Curriculum Details.

The HESA SA Organisations screen has been added to Curriculum Details, where you can enter the following:

The HESA Financial Support Tab has been added to Enrolments, where you can enter the following:

Service Pack 2 Changes
The following changes have been made for 4.36 Service Pack 2:
Change to HESA field input format
The AWARDBODY1-8 fields on the HESA Student Alternative screen in Curriculum Details will now accept the following input formats:

Up to eight characters
-
Drop-down field selection
Change to HESA output file
The PCODELOC field has been changed so that the HESA Output file for 21/21 is populated to the UK Post Office specification.
Service Pack 3 Changes
The following change has been made for 4.36 Service Pack 3:
Change to HESA output file
The PERIODEND field, which is mandatory for HESA Level 2 courses, has been changed so that the HESA Output file is populated in the following ways:

With the Enrolment Details Progress Date when the learner’s enrolment has a Progress Code that is not ‘A’ (Active), ‘N’ ( Non-Starter) or ‘L’ (Waiting List)

With the Special Details Register End Date (if blank, the associated UIO End Date) when the learner’s Enrolment Progress Code is ‘A’ (Active) and Use Special Details is selected

With the associated UIO End Date when the learner’s Enrolment Progress Code is ‘A’ (Active) and Use Special Details is not selected
